We LOVE frozen treats in summer!
No matter what you call them – Popsicles, ice pops, ice lolly… they are the best treat on a hot day!!
We make our ice Pops often!
Today we decided to add real fruit – it looks good and it’s healthy!!
Ingredients for Sprite Kiwi Strawberry Ice Pop:
- Kiwi fruit (1 is enough for 6 pops) peeled and cut into thin rounds
- Strawberries – a small handful, de-stemed cut in half
- Sprite – or you other favorite sweet clear drink! We prefer it clear so you can see the kiwi and strawberry through it!
- Ice Pop Moulds – we love these!
Method:
Stand your Ice pop moulds in their holders (upside down)
Add one pice of kiwi (to the top) – don’t squash it as the perfect kiwi round makes such a pretty pattern. You also want the juice to be able to be able to get the whole way through!
Add a few strawberries
Fill the mould up with Sprite
Pop into the freezer overnight!
We love simple ideas like this! Kids treats that literally take 5 minutes to make!
……and taste GREAT!….
Last year we made these Fruit & Yoghurt Popsicles – so easy, and yummy!!
This idea is without a doubt the EASIEST frozen yoghurt snack idea you will ever make!!!
