This easy to make, super healthy strawberry and blueberry smoothie is a perfect start to any day!
We love smoothies in our family! The kids love them, the grown ups love them!
Breakfast, lunch, snack, in-between, after dinner treat… there is no right time for a smoothie!!
We were walking through the market and found the best looking strawberries so we decided to add blueberries to the mix and make smoothies for a pre-lunch snack!
This particular recipe contains full fat greek style yoghurt. This can gives it a smooth creaminess which we love! You can easily substitute the yoghurt for a non dairy equivalent or 100ml dairy free milk – it will be a little less thick, but still completely tasty!!

For a slightly more frozen / cold option – or summer treat – use frozen berries!
Strawberries contain antioxidants, they support the immune system, they are known to have antimicrobial effects – which means they have a beneficial effect on the reproduction of bacteria and parasites in the body… and they are good for your skin!
Blueberries are low in calories, high in nutrients! They are the king of antioxidant foods, may lower blood pressure and help to promote a heart health!
